5b6ccc7aglcarrickwriter.jpgAfter graduating in politics from the University of Wales (Swansea), Gill worked in the Houses of Parliament as a researcher and feature writer on the House Magazine. She moved to BBC Radio as a producer; followed by a stint in TV production. Gill was a producer/presenter on travel programmes for R4 and R5 Live for 10 years.

She returned to her first love of writing a few years’ ago and writes for a range of newspaper and magazine titles. She has written 3 books - Hidden Suffolk; The Essential Guide To Arthritis and My Dog Has Arthritis.... But Lives Life To The Full. She is working on 2 more titles in the series, focusing on cats with arthritis and dogs with epilepsy. Her first fictional work (The Franglais Cat) is available on Smashwords.com and will be published in hard back later this year.

Gill's travelled extensively and was based in Dubai for a while writing for Gulf News’ publications and has spent time in Australia. She also writes under her family name of Elliott and as Lucy Carrick.
